Hi,
I am using the “gallery”media-element in enfold 3.5.4 on most of my pages. This is currently a beta-site and can be accessed through sandbox.moelzer.de.
On the pages “faces” and “campaigns” the gallery opens properly, however, if I click on another page and then return to either “faces” or “campaigns”, the images are greyed-out and will not refresh. Even hitting refresh will not work. The only way the gallery will reload is when you scroll with the mouse to the very end of the page.
Could you please help?

Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.
In addition to that, please let us know if we are allowed to deactivate one or more of your plugins as well for testing purposes :)Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
Login credentials include:
- the URL to the login screen
- a valid username (with full administration capabilities)
- as well as a password for that username

Thank you for your quick reply. I have disabled the plugins but it did not solve the issue.
I did notice though that the it seems to effect pages that have more images than the browser shows (need to scrolle). This can be a coincident and still does not explain why the first load of the page works and the error only occurs when the page is selected a second time.
In any case, below please find the login-credentials will full admin rights.

There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:

Sorry but that did not work.
Once I clear the cache and select any of the two pages mentioned, I get all the images correctly, however, as soon as I reselect the page the thumbnails are greyed out.

The issue is in Safari, Firefox (Mac) and according to friends also in IE on Windows. Please see the images:

Reselecting: http://sandbox.moelzer.de/reselect.pngI have noticed that this ONLY happens when the browser windows is sized not to show all images on one page (need to scroll). When that happens the error occurs upon reselecting the page. If I resize the browser to show all images (no need to scroll), the error will NOT occur upon reselect.

did you really delete all theme files before getting a fresh copy from your themeforest account? cause we can’t reproduce this issue on our installation and it’s working fine for thousands of others, too. Try to deactivate all your plugin to check if one is causing this issue.

The challenge is that a lot of my friends seem to have the same issue – all on different computers, networks and providers.
Based and the way somebody is viewing the page, the image gallery will work. All this is difficult to describe and therefore I have made a video that shows you exactly what is happening and under what conditions it does work. I have addressed the issue of plug-ins in the video and, as you suggested, I have fully deleted the theme files, refreshed (to verify) and reloaded a fresh copy of the theme.

thanks for the clear video.
Open your gallery element to edit it and look for “Thumbnail fade in effect”. Choose “Activate animation on page load”. This should help.
