Is it possible to have the Image slideshow at the top of the entry for a gallery layout to play automatically when someone clicks on the page – example: http://www.ciambra.com/ (Purchase code hidden if logged out) /
Currently the default is set on pause – can we change this to PLAY as it is difficult for someone to know that it is a slideshow unless they hover over the image that then shows the Play, Forward & Back arrows – problem is we can’t assume anything on how familiar people are as users so we have to cater for the lowest common denominator!
Please advise how I can do this.

I would like to help you make the image slideshow autoplay but I can’t make it work. I’ll just tag the rest of the support, they might now how to resolve this issue.

You misunderstand my request. I do not want the background slideshow to autorun because I have chosen the no autorun on the slidshow option as I want to represent the gallery with just the one image. What I was asking is this:
Is it possible that when I choose the gallery option “Image Slideshow at the top of the entry” for that slideshow to start automatically when a user clicks on that page?
At the moment, the default is set to pause. If you do not know that it is a slideshow, it looks like a static image unless you hover over it. And then you can barely see the play/forward/back arrows and I want to avoid any confusion with when people come to my site.
My thanks & hear back from you soon.

I think Dude is right. I didn’t check it thoroughly last time. Just select 1-100 on “Slideshow Autorotation” and the slideshow should play automatically even without hovering on the images.

Ismael / Dude
Actually, it doesn’t work that way.
As an FYI – The Autorotation option ONLY affects the Background slideshow. I tried it as suggested and it had NO Effect on the “Image Slideshow at the top of the entry.” That slideshow did not start automatically ONLY the Background slideshow was automatically started.
Hopefully that is clear.
Anyway, my question is can I have ONLY the “Image Slideshow at the top of the entry” to start automatically NOT the background slider.
