I don't see anything different in my galleries settings but since a few weeks, I can't get an image gallery displayed correctly.

Hey,
If wordpress doesn't resize any thumbnails the gd-image libary is not installed on your server (or your hoster deactivated or restricted the usage of this libary). Please ask your hoster to activate/install the gd image libary and afterwards regenerate the thumbnails with: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ again.
