Finally i succeed with danish language, but when i tried this (i read in another thread in here), it cam up with something i do not understand

http://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/ to translate the theme text strings. Install the plugin, go to Tools > Localization and select “Themes”. Then search for “Enfold” in the list and click on “Add new language”. Then select your language from the list and click the “create po-file” button. Click on “Rescan” to fetch all text strings. Then click on “Edit” and translate the required strings from the “avia_framework” textdomain. At least click the “create mo file” button next to the “Textdomain” selection dropdown (top left corner).

i did the above – and it says:

Warning: The actual loaded translation content contains mixed textdomains and is not pure translateable within one textdomain.

It seems, that there is code contained extracted out of other plugins, themes or widgets and used by copy & paste inside some source files.

The affected unknown textdomains are: wordpress-importer, woothemes, woocommerce, plugindomain, envato, avia_builder, LayerSlider

    What does that mean? :)

    Hi,

It means that our theme does contain several text domains and not all text domains are translatable with the theme po & mo files. You just need to translate the “avia_framework” textdomain and you can ignore the others.

Ok :) Then i have another question. I would like to translate all the “dummy” pages to danish also, because when i need (in the future), to show a future customer the page and its possibilities, i need it on danish.

So. Is it possible for me – somehow – when i am finished translating alle the dummy page to danish to, to save them somehow, so that next time i purchase the ENFOLD (to next customer), i can put the danish dummy pages instead of the english?

I know they are happy to get the dummy pages, but some people like it on danish, because its more easy for them to understand then.

I hope you understand my question.

I just don’t want to translate them each time.

I asume i need to buy the theme each time i make a page for someone where i choose your theme – So thats why i ask.

    :)

Ok – now i translated all 1393 strings… BUT.. its only some of them i can see in my control panel?

I can see when i want to add a new page, that the name of the elements is now danish – but etc when i go to ENFOLD – all the menus, explanations and so on, is still on english

    How can that be?

Is it not in the same translation file or?

    :)

    1) Yes you can translate the dummy data. Open up wp-contentthemesenfoldincludesadmindummy.xml and translate the text strings within the xml nodes. If you want to import the translated text string on the client server replace the original dummy.xml file with your translated version and import the dummy content afterwards. Alternatively translate it on your server and use a db migrate tool (like: WP MIGRATE DB to clone the translated posts to other servers. You also don’t need to import the dummy data if you clone the db directly.

    2) The admin page is not fully translatable but most text strings are translatable (eg the layout builder elements & descriptions) and use the avia_framework textdomain. Please try to re-scan the theme files and make sure that you generated a mo file based on the po file.

Oh i think this is getting to complicated for me.. Haha.. i found the places where i could translate the admin page, and i did it directly in the files: functions.php, register-admin-options.php, register-backend-styles.php, class-htmlhelper.php and auto-updates.php

Then its all on danish in the backend now…

But i just don’t get that about the dummy data yet.. i must try to keep my focus and see if i can understand that… :D

    Thanks for your reply anyway..

Could be cool, if the admin part also where in the translate-file, so i did not have to correct so many different pages directly.

Another question.. When i choose “start page” – i set it to the one with the slider, but no matter what i choose – it shows only the BLOG page… i dont understand that?

I tried to choose some of the others also, but still only it shows the BLOG page..

Is something went wrong in my translating process or?
