I would like to just disable this in general on our site. The lightbox makes the vimeo video and audio out of sync. I would rather the link just send them to the vimeo website.

In the theme files, open js>avia.js and look for:
autolinkElements: 'a[rel^="prettyPhoto"], a[rel^="lightbox"], a[href$=jpg], a[href$=png], a[href$=gif], a[href$=jpeg], a[href$=".mov"] , a[href$=".swf"] , a[href*="vimeo.com"] , a[href*="youtube.com"] , a[href*="screenr.com"]'
You can just remove the vimeo entry and it will no longer be opened by prettyPhoto automatically.
