Hi I used the import dummy text function and am now having difficulty getting rid of them I have put them all in the trash and they are still showing up several hours later. Please advise.

Hi,
I'm assuming you mean your menu items, since the dummy content is gone. You can go under Dashboard > Appearances > Menus and remove these menu items.
