If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I got my google analytics set up, and inserted the code in the text box in the flashlight settings. However, now the code shows up on every page in what seems to be a random place. This is very noticable on the home page of my website. I am not using the crop and fill function on the background slider as I have a fair few portrait photos, hence you can see the full code if you hide the sidebar and content. Can you suggest how I can get rid of it showing other than get rid of the code all together?
You need to use the entire code block you get from google and not just the key. The field is set up so that it just spits out the whole code block into the footer and doesn’t create it for you.
