    Hi, I put our Google Analytics code in the settings for Newscast, but it is now visible at the top right section of content on our site.

    Can you tell me how to fix this so the code renders in the script and not on the page?

    Thanks

    Janet

    Hey,

    please check the google tracking code – I think it’s not correct:

    <script type="text/javascript">
    st_go({blog:'19131369',v:'ext',post:'0'});
    var load_cmc = function(){linktracker_init(19131369,0,2);};
    if ( typeof addLoadEvent != 'undefined' ) addLoadEvent(load_cmc);
    else load_cmc();
    </script>

    Oh, thank you! I just had the actual id in there, not the whole code. Got it. Thanks!

    Glad that you solved the problem :)

    OK… I just had the same issue. Nice to find the support thread here. But maybe you could add a bit of text on the form where people enter the code – I think it is an understandable assumption to just put the code in.

    Thanks

    Hi!

    Yes you’re right. I’ll ask Kriesi to look into it.

    Best regards,

    Peter
