    When I was developing my site with your display theme I asked for some code to show the form properly on my page and you gave me the following…

    #top .gform_wrapper .ul li{<br /><br />
    background: transparent none;<br /><br />
    list-style-type:none;<br /><br />
    list-style-image:none;<br /><br />
    }<br /><br />

    I never actually got the chance to try that with Display as I started using Avisio shortly after…but now want to use Gravity Forms with avisio so I put the above code in style1.css but it doesn’t appear to do what I want…

    Any ideas?

    http://www.ian.dj/contact is the link to the page…there’s a border at the top and bottom and I want to bring the font-size down a bit…is this possible or should I just extend the contact form built into Avisio?

    I really like Gravity Forms features though such as the conditional logic you can place on fields.

    Hopefully we can sort this!

    Try following code:

    .gform_wrapper .ul li{

    background: transparent none;

    list-style-type:none;

    list-style-image:none;

    border: none;

    }

    Nope, that pesky border is still there. I managed to bring the font-size down a bit by stopping the plugin output it’s own CSS but that top and bottom border is still coming in from somewhere…arggh

    Please try this code:

    .gfield, .gform_fields, .gfield_label{
    list-style-type:none;
    list-style-image:none;
    border: none;
    }

    If it doesn’t work you can also remove those borders by modifiying style1/style2/style3.css

    There you’ll find this code

    .entry ul, .entry ol{
    border-top:1px solid #D6D6D6;
    color:#555;
    }

    .entry ul li {
    background:url("../images/skin1/bullet_list.png") no-repeat scroll 0 12px transparent;
    border-bottom:1px solid #D6D6D6;
    }

    .entry ol li {
    border-bottom:1px solid #D6D6D6;
    }

    Modify it to:

    .entry ul, .entry ol{
    color:#555;
    }

    .entry ul li {
    background:none transparent;
    }

    .entry ol li {}

    The disadvantage is that all ordered and unordered lists won’t have borders anymore.

    Right ok a bit of progress, i’ve got rid of the borders by hacking the plugin CSS. I now can’t remove that list image though. I’ve added the following code to EVERY style in the CSS of the plugin…

    list-style-type:none; list-style-image:none;

    But I just can’t make it go away at all. Very annoying!

    delete this entry in your style1.css

    .entry ul li {

    background:url("../images/skin1/bullet_list.png") no-repeat scroll 0 12px transparent;

    border-bottom:1px solid #D6D6D6;

    }

    Ianforest, can I offer a suggestion? Download Firefox (if you don’t already use it) and download a plugin called firebug. Once installed, you could have found your problem in 1 minute (and all future problems). Here’s the steps:

    1) Open your site

    2) Highlight offending field (i.e. “your name” in the contact form), right click and hit “inspect element”

    3) See your html on the left and your css on the right. You can now edit all affecting css in realtime and view in your browser.

    In your case you would have had to highlight the list element on the left side of the window and on the right in the css window you would see that dude is correct!

    Well that works but then it also removes the list formatting throughout the entire site. Not really what I wanted.

    I’ll put it back :)

    You can actually download the Gravity Forms plugin and freely use it, if you want support you need to spend the bucks on a license. It’s annoying this though. Now, if Kriesi expanded his contact form system to include additional fields, conditional logic and an ajax popup calendar i’d be really happy, but that’s not going to happen is it. LOL

    You can use tis plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/contact-form-7/

    I use it on my site.

    PS:

    I forgot that the bullet image is used as a background.

    Try folowing code – maybe that helps:

    .gfield, .gform_fields, .gfield_label{
    list-style-type:none;
    list-style-image:none;
    border: none;
    background: none transparent;
    }

    Fantastico…it works!

    My head hurts…thanks again, bottles of virtual beer all round.

    I’ll check out that Firebug plugin, I guess it works on OSX as well???

    Hello sir,

    My Gravity Forms with Conditional Logic works fine in local system. When i use Gravity Forms with Conditional Logic in my domain it doesn’t display the from. Help me…. plz…..

    #30804

    @ianforest: It works just fine on OSX. Personally I can’t live without the plugin, would take days not a few minutes figuring out bugs.

    @gokul: For Gravity Forms support, please visit Gravity Forms where I’m sure Carl or Kevin will help out. Make sure you’re using the latest version (currently 1.3.13.1).
