    Hi on my sites main page ( http://www.grand-national.me.uk ) I’d like to remove the <h1> tag from the blog entries list. As it’s generating around 18 H1s which I’ve been advised is way too many for google.

    I’d like to keep the styling the same, but just remove the h1 element in the code. What’s the best way to go about this. I’ve had a little play but was unable to get it to work as the font used for title revert to default if I changed <h1 class=” to <div class”

    Thanks in advance

    Hey eddygame!

    Please go to wp-content\themes\shoutbox\includes folder and open loop-single.php file and find

    <h1 class='post-title'>

    and change it to

    <div class='post-title'>

    Please do not forget to edit closing tags as well

    ? I’m not being funny but that’s exactly what I said above?

    Have you made the changes on the file i mentioned in my previous post? It does work fine on my local installation http://i.imgur.com/Cc1yTOW.jpg

    Best regards,
