    Hi,

my seo manager told me we are having problem on the site http://www.tinteo.com because we had

    1) duplicate h1 title on the front page

    2) on product page there is no h2 and h3 is “product description” and “reviews” so the tabs on the description part. these are generic description and will not help.

How can I change that so that product description / additional information / and reviews are not h3 and place h3 in relevant sections ?

Hi, any idea ? this h3 for product description is a real problem for SEO

    Hi anniet,

I’m not sure what you mean by duplicate h1 title on the front page. If you need to remove the h1 from the page logo, you can do that in the framework>php>function-set-avia-frontend.php file in the avia_logo function. Just search for:

    if(!function_exists('avia_logo'))

Change the h1 in there to a regular div and save the file. Just make sure re-do this whenever you update the theme files.

On the invidual product page there actually is an h2 element. It is the sub title in the product description area. So on this page: http://www.tinteo.com/produit/casques-audio/aba-de-tinteo-casque-audio-a-reduction-active-de-bruit/

    it is this text:

Avec la réduction de bruit, profitez de la musique sans le bruit!

    Hi,

Thanks a lot for the h1 on the logo. I will do that.

on the product aba that you show, I added a h2 yesterday in the exerpt part, it is not done automatically. that would be a nice addition to the theme.

the h3 is product description and I do not know how to change that. Do you have an idea ? Product description is already in the tab so it doesn’t need to be repeated below ?

I’m not really sure that would matter since every other next level title on the page is using h3. This includes product titles, widget titles and comment reply section title.

Getting into removing all of them would require going through and modifying a significant number of functions/layout/css throughout the theme.

If its a necessity, I’d recommend looking into a freelance developer who can fully modify the theme and document it or create a child theme with all of the changes.

    Regards,

    Devin
