    Hello,

    1) On my portfolio thumbnail page (vincentpong.com/portfolio), I would like to change the text colors for the title of each portfolio piece, hyperlink hovering color, and the descritption. Where would I make the changes for those?

    2) Also, on my main page (vincentpong.com), how can i get rid of the gray’ish/shadow line near the center, just under the feature slideshow? my intention is to get rid of all the white space underneath the slideshow image.

    Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

    Vincent

    Any help?..

    Hi Vincent,

    To change the title colors you would use:

    h3.name_sort, h3.name_sort a {
    color: #666666;
    }

    To change the title hovers you would use:

    h3.name_sort a:hover {
    color: #666666;
    }

    To change the descriptions you would use:

    .portfolio_content p {
    color: #666666;
    }

    To get rid of the shadow you can switch the page layout to full width or you can add this CSS to your

    .sidebar {
    background-image:none;
    }

    body.home .boxed .entry {
    border-bottom: none;
    }

    Hope this helps!

    Regards,

    Mya

    Thanks Mya,

    Which files would I put these codes into? thanks.

    I put all the codes in style.css. Works great for the portfolio text and link colors. But the shadow line on the main page is still there… =(

    Thanks,

    Vincent

    Hi,

    Do you mean the shadow on the left and the right side of the wrapper?

    .boxed #wrapper_head {
    background: none!important;
    }

    Hi Ismael,

    No, I mean the vertical shadow line under the feature image on the main page,. it’s near the middle.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    That is the sidebar shadow.

    .sidebar_top {
    background: none;
    }

    .sidebar {
    background: none;
    }

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Hi Mya,

    To change the text colors on my portfolio page, I added the codes you have provided to style.css. Works great.

    But now at the bottom of the portfolio page, i can see the line “h3.name_sort, h3.name_sort a { color: #666666; }”. How can I get rid of that? Thanks so much.

    Hi Vincent

    I believe you put the code Mya gave in the wrong place. You can put the code here: wp-content/themes/habitat/style.css.

    Bingo! Thanks. I duplicated that line of code in template_portfolio.php.

    Thanks again.
