    is that possible? would be nice if i could use some css.

    sth. like

    $(“.avia_fullscreen_slider li:first-child”).addClass(“cropping”);

    Hi maratino,

    I’m not quite sure I follow. You want one image within a background gallery to be cropped, but the others to not be cropped?

    If this is the case, I’m not quite sure this would be achievable without some significant alterations to the theme files. When an image is uploaded to wordpress, the functions.php within the theme tells wordpress to also make a few copies at various sizes. Of those, you can tell it to crop or not to crop to get it to the desired size. Since the background images are all pulled from the single size/type, you would have to apply the rule to all of them or none.

    hi devin, sorry to be unprecise.

    i am not talking about the wp-cropping but the flashlight fullscreen background-gallery mode!

    I want to mix. Best would be to be able to have a “per image” setting.

    Background: portrait images are not suitable for cropping, landscape image are.

    Unfortunately this is currently not possible in a simple way. I will take a look into it but I cant make any promisses here, there are unfortunately a few more urgent requests that need to be fixed…
