    Hi there,

    How can I add a image/graphic banner across the entire page at the top in a portfolio?

    I would like to be able to add buttons within the portfolio page that link also???

    Cheers

    Did anyone respond to you in your mailbox on this? I need the answer to this as well.

    I did noticed that if you go into yourwebsite option menu (click dashboard) and scroll down. It will allow you to put up a logo which will remove the Habitat logo and coffee cup.

    However, it doesn’t stretch across the top of the page. Also, do you know if there is a way to change the fonts for the “Page Menu Tabs”. Everyone that uses Habitat seems to have the same top menu layout!

    Hey,

    you can change the logo size by adjusting the width and height values in following code in style.css:

    #top .logo, .logo a{
    display:block;
    height:85px;
    width:165px;
    position:absolute;
    left:40px;
    top:20px;
    border: none;
    padding: 0;
    margin:0;
    }

    If you want to use a fullwidth logo increase the logo width to 940px. Afterwards you must change the nav position by changing the top value in following code:

    #top .nav{
    height:50px;
    line-height:30px;
    padding-left:13px;
    right:40px;
    position:absolute;
    z-index:100;
    top:45px;
    }

    Increase it to push the menu down or decrease it to move it up.

    Hey,

    the best way is to use a ftp software like filezilla or the cpanel to download css files from your server. Navigate to wp-content/themes/Habitat folder. There you’ll find a css file called style.css. You can also use the theme editor (under “Appearance”).

    Hi there,

    I don’t think I explain myself to well at the beginning of this post.

    What I would like to know…… Is it possible to have a header of some sort (text or graphic WITHIN the a portfolio page?

    I would like to have a title/graphic that says PORTFOLIO PAGE with some text explaining the pages content then my portfolio icons that you can click on to open. It would also be nice to include my own custom buttons WITHIN the page in various places.

    All I seem to be able to have WITHIN the portfolio page is 3 columns of samples of my logo’s with a bit of text and a readmore link (which I have removed as I don’t need the readmore link) and thats it.

    Hope this all makes sense,

    Cheers

    Hey,

    This adjustment can be made in template_portfolio.php for the general portfolio template and you can use WP’s Conditional Tags to do this for single pages, adding the code to single.php.

    Hi there,

    I have looked over the WP’s Conditional Tags but I don’t understand it sorry.

    Could you please tell me in more detail how to add the tile ‘Portfolio’ at the top left hand side within my portfolio page (http://logiclogo.com/logo/?page_id=5) ?

    Also It would be great to add some text under the title ‘Portfolio’

    And finally I would like to add a button at the bottom within the portfolio page to link to another page?

    Basically just like the process page on my site (http://logiclogo.com/logo/?page_id=7) but then with the 3 columns of Logo Samples that

    can be clicked on to view larger in its lightbox.

    Maybe instead of using the general portfolio page for my portfolio I can use just a normal page and add the Logo Samples for my viewers

    to click on and view in its lightbox?

    Cheers :-)

    Just a thought,

    Is it possible that there are other general portfolio templates that I can replace the one in my Display Theme but it still

    have the same header, menu, logo, footer etc?

    Cheers
