Hello, I’m starting a new thread even when the previous issue is not resolved yet, because I think both issues are not related. I apologize if that’s not the case.

When applying a header image to the contact page on Flagship, I can’t find a way for the page to look like the demo. For some reason, the header background goes further down than in the demo contact page.

Here are both links so you can compare:

    http://www.kriesi.at/themes/flagship/contact/

    http://barnard.phoenix-internet.net/?page_id=86

Please let me know if you need me to PM the login details, I exhausted my options. I’ve worked with Brightbox, Sentence, Abundance, Sentence and others and never found this issue, please help.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

I just found the solution, it was sooooo obvious: the contact page has a dynamic template applied to it called Big Top Margin. When I removed the dynamic template and set the page to a default template, my page became like the one in the demo.

Sorry for posting for nothing, but I’m now posting my finding just in case someone stumbles at the same.

    Hey there,

I’d be interested in finding out how exactly you did this.

I am facing exactly the same problem. My contact page looks like

    http://www.kriesi.at/themes/flagship/

or any page with ‘Big Top Margin’ Dynamic Template for that matter.

However, if I follow your suggestion and just point the site to use the default template instead, the page look like

    http://www.kriesi.at/themes/flagship/template-files/

whereas, if I understood you correctly it should look like the following

    http://www.kriesi.at/themes/flagship/contact/

I’d appreciate any pointers on how to set up the latter (contact page) behaviour. Basically it seems to be some middle thing between the Big Top Margin and none, but there is no dynamic template for that.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Lukas

Anyone? Someone from the Support Team perhaps any ideas on how to replicate the contact page look in Kriesi’s demo?

    Hi Lukas,

What I did was this: since I did not plan to use the Big Top Margin template anywhere, I went to the template builder, selected Big Top Margin template and modified the first element, Margin below Main Menu, to Small Margin instead of Big Margin.

So, the Contact page still has the same Big Top Margin dynamic template applied to it, only that it has been modified.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for posting your steps Daniel. I believe that is the same settings that the demo theme is using.

If you continue to have issues lukasl, let us know and we’ll try and get a response out a little faster :)

    Regards,

    Devin
