    I would like to achieve such a styling:

    This is the code in my page:

    <div class="subtitle">
    <h3>This is a test subtitle</h3>

    and these are the CSS:

    .subtitle {
    margin-bottom: 25px;
    position: relative;
    .subtitle h3 {
    font-size: 14px;
    padding-right: 15px;
    .subtitle:before {
    background: url("http://viaina.de/testseite/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2013/04/divider10.png") repeat-x scroll center center transparent;
    content: "";
    height: 7px;
    margin-top: -3px;
    position: absolute;
    top: 50%;
    width: 100%;

    The result:

    What is wrong with my :before code and what can I do so that the dotted line does not go behind the headline text?

    Hi colorit2,

    Unfortunately we really aren’t able to de-bug custom css/code through the support forums. You can try somewhere like Stackoverflow and ask the question there.
