A customer just informed me, that he is not able to complete a buying process because, when he put a product into the cart it is not possible to go further to cart and checkout. When he clicks on cart or informations for shipping costs or checkout always a 404 error is shown, as if the page is not there. But when I look in my backend all pages are still there. With the correct WooCommerce Short Codes. They haven’t changed and they are linked correctly in WooCommerce Settings. But when I click on the page on “show page” the 404 error is there again. I’ve tried to deactivate all plugins and to go back to a former version of WooCommerce and WooCommerce German Markets. Nothing changed. This is very bad for the moment, because we are currently in the press with a good article. I’ve no idea what it can be.

    This is the side: https://www.planet-upcycling.de/shop-2/

    I’m on WP 3.9.1, Propulsion 2.4., WooCommerce 2.1.10, WooCommerce GermanMarkets 2.3.5

So, I really appreciate your fast help. Thank you very much.

    Kind regards
    Frank

Hi, it seems that I could fix it. Earlier this year I installed a SSL Certificate. Now I changed the permalink structure in WP settings – Permalinks Products to “Standard”. Before it was on Userdefined Basis: /shop-2/%product_cat%

I have no idea what this means and where it comes from. Have you an explanation? Btw, how can I change the name of the shop from “shop-2″ into “shop” only?

    Hi Frank!

Make sure there isn’t another “Shop” page/post/post-type published or in the Trash.

    Best regards,
    Josue
