HELP: Choices Admin Side Not Working

Hi,

I am having an issue with Choices theme in the admin section. The Theme Options and the Template Builder pages on the admin section are completely messed up and some things cannot even be edited. Also, the Slideshow Options on my slideshow page are messed up. Everything looks different and some things cannot be updated.

Please help! Need to make updates for client soon.

Hi!

1) Deactivate all third party plugins - maybe one of them causes a js error/conflict.

2) Try to reupload all theme files - sometimes one or more files are damaged/corrupt.

Hey!

You can use a ftp client software like filezilla to access the server directories. Navigate to the wp-content/themes/folder and upload the uncompressed theme files again. Probably you need to confirm that you want to overwrite the existing files on the server.

Hi Peter,

So, here is what I've done:

1. I updated the theme via the FTP to v1.5
2. Deactivated all 3rd party plugins

Unfortunately that still hasn't fixed it. Have any other ideas?

Hi,

What do you mean by messed up, is the layout or its just not working? I think you should start from scratch. Download the latest version of WordPress then install the Choices theme without the plugins.
