    Hi, how are you?

    First of all, I own you an apologize. When I wrote the first time to get refund I hadn’t sleept for 36 hours. One simple reason : I’m a bulldog, I can’t do anything else before I figured out my problems. Which could be a mistake when you code…

    I will try to be understandable but sometimes I have a lack of technical therms because I’m french…

    My website is http://anderson69s.com, it’s running wordpress 3.4.2 on a ovh server (http://www.ovh.fr pack starter). The server is running the last php and mysql.

    I use Flashlight (Version 1.9) by kriesi (http://www.kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=flashlight) as theme and add those plugins to the wordpress CMS :

    - Akismet (Version 2.5.6)

    – All in one Favicon (Version 4.1)

    – All in One SEO Pack (Version 1.6.15.2)

    – Google Adsense Plug and Play (Version 1.00)

    – G Translate (Version 1.3)

    – ILC Product Slider (Version 1.0.2)

    – Instapress (Version 1.5.3)

    – Jetpack par WordPress.com (Version 2.0.2)

    – WooCommerce (Version 1.6.5.2)

    – WooDojo (Version 1.3.0)

    – WooSlider (Version 1.0.6)

    – WooSlider – WooCommerce Products Slideshow (Version 1.0.2)

    All the plugins have been bought, on the different websites of the developpers I have all the Paypal receipts…

    Changed I made on the css :

    - resize and position of sidebar and content ( original (page blog) : http://www.kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=flashlight / mine : http://anderson69s.com/blog/ ). Made it in the different .css I know it’s bad…

    What I want ? :

    I want to use the flashlight portfolio and images gallery on my blog post and on my product pages. (http://www.kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=flashlight page galleries) (working for now http://anderson69s.com/2012/11/16/ameliorer-votre-mac-book-pro/ / http://anderson69s.com/portfolio/ and so on…)

    I want to use the woo slider and woo slider products slideshow on my shop page and on a category page (http://www.woothemes.com/products/wooslider/) (working but bad pagination http://anderson69s.com/boutique/ and I don’t see how I could show it on : http://anderson69s.com/boutique/categorie-produit/chili/)

    I want to use the ilc product slider inside and at the bottom of the description, on a product page containing the other products of the category. (working but bad pagination http://codecanyon.net/item/product-slider-carousel-for-woocommerce/full_screen_preview/2710233 / http://anderson69s.com/boutique/nuit-3/)

    I send the same message on :

    - On code canyon support for ILC Product Slider : http://codecanyon.net/item/product-slider-carousel-for-woocommerce/discussion/2710233 pseudo : Anderson69s

    – On Kriesi support : http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/help-need-with-flashlight-woocommerce-and-slider?replies=1#post-85576

    – By mail with woo team : (Email address hidden if logged out)

    I know it’s lame, to send three times the same message to three different contact support. But I’m a chemist and this way we can solve easily my different problems because we have a refence (point of start)…

    Maybe I’ll have to / should delete some plugins and ask for a refund. If you’re not a lucky one I’m already sorry for you, your plugin is awesome, I bought it… But I know what I want and you can’t give me that so I’m oblige to ask for a refund (I’m currently looking for a job…)

    I hope I’ve been clear on what I want and hope we can run all the plugins on my website.

    Last but not least, I’m sorry for my english….

    I can’t help you with the ILC Product Slider – I’ll leave this to the plugin author. The woo slider products slideshow does not support category pages and afaik you can only call it with a shortcode. Thus you can insert it into standard pages only (which you can edit by going to Pages > All Pages). You can fix the pagination style issue with following css code:

    .wooslider-control-thumbs li img{
    max-height: 108px !important;
    }

    add this code to the quick css field or css/custom.css.

    Update – yes the woocommerce product slideshow just supports pages/post: http://www.woothemes.com/products/wooslider-products-slideshow/

    Thank’s you for you’re answer.

    I know you can’t help me with ILC part, but it was easier for me to plain my problem like that. This way all the developpers had the same version and the same point of start…

    I have few more question with the upgrade to 1.0.6, do you know if it’s possible to insert a slideshow on a category page of woocommerce?

    (= Can I insert a slideshow on : http://anderson69s.com/boutique/categorie-produit/chili/ showing all the product in this category?)

    I’ve tried your code in the quick css field or css/custom.css. Looks like it does nothing, sorry…. The narrow are still wird, the wooteam currently supporting me is working on it too…

    We’re getting closer…

    Awsome job, fast and effective….

    Re, I look at the narrow of each side looks like : text-indent: -9999px in .wooslider-direction-nav a { on flexslider.css lign 50 is causing that… Do you know how I can customize the text? Because if I change the text-indent value narrows are working great but I can’t customize the big text appearing…

    >> I have few more question with the upgrade to 1.0.6, do you know if it’s possible to insert a slideshow on a category page of woocommerce?

    1) No, imho this is not possible because you can’t insert a shortcode into the archive page. Maybe it’s possible to “implement” the slideshow into the product templates somehow – you can find them in the wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates folder – ( http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/do_shortcode ) but I’m not sure if this is possible and you need to ask the woothemes support staff. Probably this task requires some work and a skilled programmer/freelancer.

    2) It seems like you changed the slider controls from thumbnails to dots. In this case you don’t need to use the css code I posted above – it just affects the slider thumbnails underneath the main slider but it will not affect the “dot” controls.

    Hi, thank you for your reply,

    I have already ask the same question to the wooteam and to the developper of ilc product slider. I’m waiting for the reply…

    Hope it will be possible…

    I’m having issue with the narrow, they are “jumping” when you slide next to it. (out the picture)

    On : http://anderson69s.com/boutique/chili-5/ I have a picture Chili5HD and I can’t remove it how can i do?

    Thank’s for your reply we’re getting closer

    #98545

    Search for following code in your product description text:

    <a href="http://anderson69s.com/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/2012/11/chili5-HD.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-940" title="Chili 5 HD" src="http://anderson69s.com/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/2012/11/chili5-HD-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a>

    and delete it. Normally you can edit the product description text by using the visual/html editor on the product editor screen. If you want to fix the navigation arrow position add following code to css/custom.css:

    .wooslider-direction-nav a {
    top: 300px;
    }

    - obviously you can change the top value too.

    Hi, man I like the way you work….

    About the picture : I go to my product manage page, edit Chili5 but in the description, there is no

    Code:
    a href=”http://anderson69s.com/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/2012/11/chili5-HD.jpg”><img title=”Chili 5 HD” src=”http://anderson69s.com/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/2012/11/chili5-HD-300×225.jpg” alt=”” a

    Because I used the gallery option on the add new product page, and then I changed the picture because I made a mistake : I use Chili5HD (hd stand for high definition) instead of CHILI5SD (sd stand for slow definition). Same picture but not the same time for loading on the site…

    Therefor, I was asking otherwise removing a picture from a product description is not problem… At least I could delete this item and make a new one, not a big problem….

    About :

    Code:
    .wooslider-direction-nav a {
    top: 300px;
    }

    Nice the narrow are always on the same position and it’s perfect this way… but I want to mean this : (I made a video easier to see…) Open it in a new tab, press space to play

    https://dl.dropbox.com/u/26228052/Vid%C3%A9os/Trouble%20site%20narrow.mov

    Alternative question, the adjust the height of the slideshow to the height of the current slide option is not on but the height of my pictures on the site is changing at each picture how can i fix it?

    Last question, is there any tutorial to insert shortcode by php? it’s wird that a 58$ plugin (wooslider + wooslider product add-on), can’t insert slideshow on a auto generate category page… BUt it’s not really your problem ^^

    Maybe you coud tell me if it’s possible to present the picture under the slideshow here (http://anderson69s.com/boutique/) via a slideshow and link it to the category page. I want the same navigation but present under a slide show

    Hi,

    It’s easier to make screen-casts with http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/ , since its free, web based, and not only records the screen-cast, but has lots of editing functionality as well as built in upload to YouTube or Google Drive or other places as well. Dropbox just forces a download for me since I have no use for Quick Time.

    I don’t have the premium plugins that you are using , yet all the functionality you are describing can be created programmatically.

    The reason all your images have different heights … is because all your base images have identical widths and different heights. Your rule for image uploads states to: resize image to width X (652px lets say) and to keep the height proportional to the way the original image aspect ratio is. so if you resize 1000×400 image to width 652, its height would be (652*1000)/ 400 . Thus, different initial image height would result in different slide image height. To solve this problem.

    You can either (a) pre-format your images and make sure they all have the same width/height aspect ratio. (b) crop your images to a pre-determined height dynamically during the upload by changing the settings for image size and adding a hard crop. Since you are using plugins I don’t have, you should ask the developer where to go about doing that. Though option A would be the best since cropping images dynamically can result in parts of the image getting cropped that a human would have left in place.

    Thanks,

    Nick
