sidebar below on posts (single.php) on pc vista (firefox and ie7) but good on mac (firefox)?
• reloaded new single.php but still doing it only here.
• took out all custom widgets.
The problem is in the file you’re #sidebar div is within the #inner_content div. Without knowing exactly what code you have in the single.php, I’d say look for where the sidebar is rendered and move it outside of <div id=”inner_content”…. so that that side bar is below it, but still in the div with the id #content. So the structure would look like this
that didnt do it.
why would it look right on mac firefox but not on vista pc firefox?
you can see I moved the sidebar tags around as you suggested.
It doesn’t look right for me using Safari / Firefox on Mac nor using IE 7 / Firefox on Vista :(
I’d suggest starting with fixing the HTML validation errors, this may fix the problem and different browsers can interpret invalid code differently resulting in strange errors in some browsers.
