    Please have a look:

For some reason after simply adding a page to the site via the Menus and updating, Page Links are showing up from top to bottom of the entire page. I do not even see the Nav bar anymore?

Anyone have a clue what happened?

How do I fix this nightmare?

    Thanks,

    Hey gb,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    Login credentials include:

    • The URL to the login screen.
    • A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
    • As well as a password for that username.
    • permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

    Best regards,

By the way, I was just adding a menu item to the Nav bar via menus, then hit save and this happened. When I go back to the menus section, it look like half my nav menu items are missing including the entire Nav bar itself. This is really strange!

    Any help much appreciated.

    Hi Digit,

Thanks for this link, had no idea that server could limit the number of menu items.

First Question: The two options mentioned as adding code via .htaccess file is it also adding the code via php.ini or is that just an other option to choose from?

Second Question: After the code is added, what happens when I update the theme or WordPress, do I need to re install the code or is this outside the updating environment?

Third Question: Are my Menu’s lost now?

    Thanks,

Sorry, Question #4: Does Enfold use Uber Menu 2 or 3?

It seems the Uber 3 update helps with the solution options,

    Thanks again.

    Hi,

1-3). You can choose between the .htaccess or the php.ini fix but the .htaccess is commonly use by the client because the php.ini is usually accessible only to the server admin. The modifications should be retained after the update and it won’t affect the current menu items. And while you’re on it, please ask your hosting provider to increase the memory limit from 40M to at least 128M because the current limit won’t be able to handle the advance layout builder.

    // http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/

4.) There are some Enfold installations with the Ubermenu plugin installed but I don’t think you need the plugin to fix this issue. Make sure that the menu is set as Enfold Main Menu under the Theme Locations.

    Thanks Ismael,

I was able to gain access to my shared hosting php.ini file and made both modifications, so thanks!

I rebuilt the menu and so far it is holding, hopefully that is a sign that it worked.

    Much appreciated,
