   Hi there,
   I am trying to get a slideshow/featured image on this page, but it's not showing up! I don't have any plugins installed...
   Is there a place that I might have turned the slideshow off?

   Hello,

   How many images did you add on Retreats page?

   Don't forget to them as Featured Media.

   Hi there,
   I had just one, and I added it through the Featured media section.

   I just added another one, but it doesn't look any better.

   PS I am adding hte image not from the media library but as a URL.

   Well, apparently when I upload the image when I add it to the featured media, it works fine, but when I apecify it as a picture from a URL, It just shows me the URL on hte slideshow....

   I am trying to keep all the images organized in an image folder in the root of the site instead of them all going mixed up in hte uploads folder. Also, I do not like the fact that the image uploader created 17 different resolutions of an image as I upload it :O

   Is there a way that I could at least specify a path for them or a URL, as I am trying to do?

   Hi Srishti,

   You can change where your image files are stored through the wordpress options. It will be in Settings>Media>Uploading Files.

   You can remove some of the image sizes that get created by going into functions.php and removing the block of image sizes from lines 31-38:

   $avia_config['imgSize']['grid6'] 		= array('width'=>460, 'height'=>125); 		// half sized images when using 4 columns

   $avia_config['imgSize']['grid9'] 		= array('width'=>700, 'height'=>125);		// three/fourth image
   $avia_config['imgSize']['grid_fifth1'] 	= array('width'=>172, 'height'=>100);		// one fifth
   $avia_config['imgSize']['grid_fifth2'] 	= array('width'=>364, 'height'=>100);		// two fifth
   $avia_config['imgSize']['grid_fifth3'] 	= array('width'=>556, 'height'=>100);		// three fifth
   $avia_config['imgSize']['grid_fifth4'] 	= array('width'=>748, 'height'=>100);	    // four fifth
   ///////

   The others above that however are needed for the other functions of the site.
