    I wish to hide the theme banner message from the home page. I’m using this CSS to color it:

    .primary-background, .info_text_header, #info_text_header .infotext {

    background-color: DeepPink !important;

    but if I precede a copy of that with a home tag and change it to display none then it doesn’t display anywhere.

    Help, please.

    Can you give us a link to the home page?

    If you want to change the style of a specific page, you can use the Google Chrome Inspect Element. Look for the unique css body class.

    On the example above, the page’s unique selector is .page-id-2251. We can use it to change the element within that page.

    .page-id-2251 .infotext {
    display: none;

    I tried that

    .page-id-1689 .primary-background, .info_text_header, #info_text_header, .infotext {display:none;}

    on SchizoJoe.com

    Doesn’t seem to work. Nothing seems to stop it from being on the home page. I’m sure I must be doing something wrong but I don’t know what.

    Try adding this code:

    body.home #info_text_header{ display: none }

    awesome! thanks for the support…that would have taken me weeks!
