    Thanks to anyone who can provide some assistance on this quandary of mine:

    How do I prevent the caption on the slider from showing once the screen size gets down to smartphone sizes?

    Currently I have the h1 and h4 inside of my #slideshow_big .slideshow_caption styling configured in a way that makes the text inside of the captions too big to read (and thus don’t display properly) once the screen size gets down to iPhone/smartphone sizes.

    Can anyone give me a pointer on how to simply make the caption visibility hidden once the screen size drops to iPhone/smartphone sizes?

    As always, I’m super appreciative for any help that folks can provide.

    Hi,

    You can add media query on custom.css, try this

    @media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {

    div .slideshow .slideshow_caption {
    display:none;
    }

    }

    Perfect Ismael. That did exactly what was needed (and now I know how to exactly dial in the breakpoints css).
