I created a blog category to use the Columns element in template of my homepage using the Template Builder.
It's a blog category but I don't want to display in my blog the posts in that category.
I tried to use some category excluder plugin, but it didn't work.
Can you provide some help ?

You will need to first make a custom template, then select the categories you want to show (notice i excluded the news category in the image) then save it
Then you would create a new page (which will be the blog page), and on the bottom right, you would use the custom template you just built http://i.imgur.com/jmdm2.png
