    Hi, is there a possibility for hiding the twicet-options panel on the edit-post/page screen for editors? I just want access to this panel as admin, the editor doesn’t need to…

    Thanks!

    Go to your themes folder (twicet) > options > options.php

    There you replace:

    add_menu_page($optionpage_top_level, $optionpage_top_level, 7, basename(__FILE__), 'k_generate');

    with

    add_menu_page($optionpage_top_level, $optionpage_top_level, 10, basename(__FILE__), 'k_generate');

    In 2_contact.php replace:

    add_submenu_page($top_level_basename, $optionpage_name, $optionpage_name, 7, basename(__FILE__), 'k_generate_contact');

    with:

    add_submenu_page($top_level_basename, $optionpage_name, $optionpage_name, 10, basename(__FILE__), 'k_generate_contact');

    and in 7_blog.php replace:

    add_submenu_page($top_level_basename, $optionpage_name, $optionpage_name, 7, basename(__FILE__), 'k_generate_blog');

    with:

    add_submenu_page($top_level_basename, $optionpage_name, $optionpage_name, 10, basename(__FILE__), 'k_generate_blog');

    and in 8_portfolio.php replace:

    add_submenu_page($top_level_basename, $optionpage_name, $optionpage_name, 7, basename(__FILE__), 'k_generate_portfolio');

    with:

    add_submenu_page($top_level_basename, $optionpage_name, $optionpage_name, 10, basename(__FILE__), 'k_generate_portfolio');

    and in 9_Mainpage.php replace

    add_submenu_page($top_level_basename, $optionpage_name, $optionpage_name, 7, basename(__FILE__), 'k_generate_mainpage');

    with:

    add_submenu_page($top_level_basename, $optionpage_name, $optionpage_name, 10, basename(__FILE__), 'k_generate_mainpage');

    Thanks so far, but I actually meant the twicet-options panel on the edit screen, not the sidebar… The other part I got fixed by following this post: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/hide-avisio-settings-for-new-user

    Thanks again, Tom

    Ok that’s something we need James for because I don’t know a way how achieve this.

    Hey,

    If you mean the Punchline etc custom fields box, you can’t disable this on a case by case basis, it’s either available for all users or not. Bear in mind that even without the Custom Fields box, any user can still manually add a custom field to a page / post if they know the name called by the theme.

    I mean this panel (screenshot): http://skitch.com/tomboersma/dici6/rediger-innlegg-sjh-ressurssenter-wordpress. How to dissable this on a “case by case” basis? Thanks again!

    Hey,

    Sorry I made a mistake typing the previous response:

    you can disable this on a case by case basis, it's either available for all users or not

    should have been:

    you can't disable this on a case by case basis, it's either available for all users or not

    You can remove the entire area by deleting the /options/custom_fields.php file.
