    I am interested in using another plug-in for events on the site I have Incarnation installed on. I am wondering if there is a way to turn off the Event Calendar so that I won’t have two Event options in the Dashboard. (I deactivated the plugin, but that doesn’t seem to do the trick.)

    Any suggestions?

    Hey digiterp!

    Sure – open up functions.php and replace

    //adds a modified version of the events calendar plugin
    require_once( 'config-events-calendar/config.php' );

    with

    //adds a modified version of the events calendar plugin
    //require_once( 'config-events-calendar/config.php' );

    Best regards,
    Peter

    Thanks for the reply. It looks like that is the same code. Is there supposed to be something different that I replace it with?

    //adds a modified version of the events calendar plugin
    //require_once( ‘config-events-calendar/config.php’ );

    Sorry. I see the difference now.

    Hey!

    He disabled it by converting it as a comment.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
