So here’s what I’ve done so far: - using the dynamic template builder, I created one for the home page with 2 columns - each column content is “post from category” - created the categories “news” and “events” - created a few posts under each category Now the problem I have is that only the most recent post is showing under each column/category, and I’m stuck. How can I change this so that more than one post is shown? If anyone can help I’d be very grateful!! Many thanks February 17, 2012 at 7:08 pm #64357 DevinModerator Hello Waterlily, You will need to edit line 682 in the helper-templates.php page. This is in the “includes” folder of the theme files. You’ll change the number next to posts_per_page from 1 to however many posts you would like displayed. Example with 5 posts per page: $data['query_post'] = array( 'cat' => $data['value'], 'posts_per_page'=>5, 'offset' => $this->offset_tracker['cat'][$data['value']]); February 20, 2012 at 8:25 am #64358 waterlilyParticipant Excellent, thanks very much!! Will try that :) Author Posts Viewing 3 posts - 1 through 3 (of 3 total) The topic ‘Home dynamic template – 2 columns display posts, how to show more than 1 post’ is closed to new replies.
