    I tried changing the index.php (and believe me you guys should have given this thing in display settings only)

    But could not able to get images of bottom three column section to change. I removed the commented thing but my first image is displaying in all the three blocks.

    Second Is there any EASY way I can change the footer columns? I want to show only few pages, NOT my BLOGROLL, and some other links

    Hey Jayminmexus,

    The three columns underneath the main image area on the homepage are using the Mainpage – Columns options on the Display admin panel. You can choose to have them display a Page, Post or even a Widget.

    The footer options begin in the Display admin panel as well. Under “Footer Options” you can change the text on the Contact Button, what it links to and the secondary text.

    The other columns in the footer are controlled within the Footer Widget area on the Widget page.

    Hi devin,

    Well the problem with the Mainpage column thing is I just wanted to add three different pictures and it is not letting me do it by repeating the first image in all three blocks. I am able to change the text though.

    Do you have live site I can take a look at?

    If you JUST want images in the three columns, you could add three text block widgets (one into each column) and then place an image into the text widget with html.

    Where is it that you’ve added in the medium1.jpg image to your site?

    In the index.php file

    here is what I changed

    $placeholder_image1 = get_bloginfo(‘template_url’).’/files/medium1.jpg’;

    $placeholder_image2 = get_bloginfo(‘template_url’).’/files/image9.jpg’;

    $placeholder_image3 = get_bloginfo(‘template_url’).’/files/Branding.jpg’;

    $placeholder_image1 = kriesi_build_image(array(‘url’=>$placeholder_image1,’height’=>’124′,’width’=>’280′));

    $placeholder_image2 = kriesi_build_image(array(‘url’=>$placeholder_image2,’height’=>’124′,’width’=>’280′));

    $placeholder_image3 = kriesi_build_image(array(‘url’=>$placeholder_image3,’height’=>’124′,’width’=>’280′));

    You just need to update one last bit right underneath there. For the second and third columns, change the $placeholder_image1 to $placeholder_image2 and 3 respectively. Or you can replaces lines 57-62 with:

    $placeholder[1] = $placeholder_image1.'<h3>HTML Template "Display“</h3><p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco <a href="">laboris nisi</a> ut aliquip ex ea commodo conse. <a class="more-link" href="#">Read more</a></p>';

    $placeholder[2] = $placeholder_image2.'<h3>Amanded with Adobe Flash</h3><p>Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in voluptate velit esse cillum <strong>dolore eu fugiat</strong> nulla pariatur.<br/> Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident, sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollit anim id est laborum.<a class="more-link" href="#">Read more</a></p>';

    $placeholder[3] = $placeholder_image3.'<h3>jQuery to the rescue</h3><p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo conse.
    quat. <a class="more-link" href="#">Read more</a>';
