If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
When the home page slider loads fresh you have to click on the slide image and then again to get the image to pop-up in the light box and load pretty photo. It only does this on the home page template, not the portfolio pages. I went to your theme demo on themeforest and it does the same thing. How can I get it to work like the portfolio pages?
I think what is happening is that when you click on the slider image on the home page, you are taken to the individual page that contains that image. Just like in any blog ‘post list’ the images can either have no link, link to the article, or link to a lightbox. If you notice on the Coherence home page demo slider, only the first slide links to a page, the remaining slides either have buttons, or can not be clicked.
So go to the page which contains the gallery and find the location where all the images you’ve uploaded are located below the content. Open up the panel (see this image -> http://i.imgur.com/XxhLt.png ) and for each image in the gallery you can set what exactly you want to happen when the image is shown in the gallery/slider/portfolio etc…
