   where do I need to put the images for the slideshow on the homepage? seems that homepage = mainpage, but mainpage options only allow me to change the lower portion of that page. using wp 3.0. Thanks.

   If you read the documentation you will see it is under Slider Entries

   @cwrigley is right, in WordPress admin you'll see "Slider Entries" just under the "Posts" tab.

   I'm having a problem with the slider. When I click to add the Featured Image, it opens up the box way down the page and I can upload the image but I can't select it.

   Any help would be appreciated.

   Never mind! LOL Just as I was typing I decided to try a different browser. And it works in other browsers. Just didn't work in IE.

   Hi. I have the Habitat theme and I do not have "SLIDER ENTRIES" tab in my WP Admin panel, it should be in WordPress admin just under the "Posts" tab, but it's not there.... is there something I need to activate?

   If you use Habitat there're no slider entries. You can create slideshows by adding several featured images to a post/page.
