I have 2 images on slider: http://agapetexas.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/headerTest3.png http://agapetexas.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/test1.png
Both are 990×360. Test shows the correct size, headerTest3, expands vertically. How can I make it so it doesnt do this?

I'm not quite sure what is causing that. Can you create a temporary admin account for me to log in and take a look at the images. I think it has to do with how they are set up in the slider but it will be quickest to just take a look.
The only other option I can think of to try to regenerate the thumbnails first with: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

Thanks for sending me the info so quickly :)
Can you try downloading the most recent update of the theme from Themeforest and re-installing the theme in the same way you first installed it. There was an update in version 1.2 to bring it up to compatibility with wordpress version 3.4 which may fix your issue.
If that does not, next try disabling all active plugins, installing then running the regenerate thumbnails plugin I linked above and then finally removing the image from the slideshow on that page and then re-adding it in.
Its quite a few steps but its better to get everything running smoothly now before you add more images and content in the slider :)

Updated to 1.2 and turned off plugins, still the same. Then tried the regenerate thumbnails and that did it. Thank you!

Hello, I want to change the slider size, increase the height and push the main container to the slider limit, is this possible?

Hi jorgepelaez,
You can try using a dynamic template and using the element Margin below the main menu to create a big space for the slideshow to be.This would be pretty similar to the demo in that in creates a big open space at the top of the page.
If you can create a new post topic with a link to your page the progress you have so far we can try and help direct you in how to customize it further.
I'm going to close this topic to just the original poster and admins however so the main topic doesn't get derailed and too confusing :)
