    Hi, I tried to get to my Website Home page with a Samsung Galaxie Player 4, a Driod based O/S, but the home page just shows a white background with nothing on it. The product pages seem to show up OK, but not the home page. I can get to a product page from an internet search.

    I tried changing the font’s to the droid sans, but no changes

    Any suggestions to try would help,

    Thank you,

    Kelly

    Hi Kelly,

    What OS version is it specifically? Does it have the same effect on the demo site with the same device: http://www.kriesi.at/themes/replete/

    If not, my guess would be something specific to the site but what that is would be hard to say. The responsive changes are all standard media queries so there shouldn’t be anything that actually causes the page to blank out.

    Hi Devin, unfortuinately I cannot check it out at this time, I took it back to work today. However, I do notices visitors going to my site with devices like iphones and such. I don’t have one of these either that I could try it.

    I can check it out tomorrow and get back. Unless you have access to an iphone? If that works, I’m OK with it. I just figured I’d hook up to it yesterday when I was working on this device.

    I can get back to you on this.

    Thank you,

    Kelly

    If you can let us know the specific OS version and a link to the site/page we can try testing to see if we get the same thing or if we can spot whats going on.

    Hi, the Android version is Gingerbread 2.3.5 build UEKI8

    I have the device at home today, but because of the proxy settings I setup for work, I cannot get to the internet from home. I will take it back to work tomorrow and try it there.

    Thank you,

    Kelly

    Hi Kelly,

    I’ve tested all of the themes on 2.3.6 and had no issues so seeing it live may be the best way to see if we can spot whats going on.

    HI, I tried the Replete Demo on that Android tablet ind it shows up fine. I’m not sure why mine site does not? Could it be related to my CDN?

    Thanks,

    Kelly

    #127372

    Now that i think about it, the CDN I doubt is the problem. I reecall trying this about 7-8 months ago on a tablet and it came up blank also, I didn’t think much of it at the time, I just thought it was the loactaion I was trying it from.

    I hope there’s an easy solution.

    Could it possibly be a CSS setting?

    Here’s what I have in my quick css;

    .woocommerce-pagination {

    display: none;

    }

    #top.tax-product_cat .container > .term-description {

    display: none;

    }

    mark.count {

    display: none !important;

    }

    .bc-container-wrap {

    display: none !important;

    }

    #top .reset_variations {

    bottom: 7px;

    right: 7px;

    }

    #top .pp_description {

    color: #333;

    }

    #top #slideshow_big .arrow_controls a {

    background-color: transparent !important;

    }

    #top #slideshow_big .arrow_controls a span.css_3_hover {

    background-color: transparent !important;

    }

    .widget_shopping_cart .button {

    float: left;

    }

    .widget_shopping_cart .button.checkout {

    float: right;

    }

    .woocommerce-page.single-product .title_container {

    display: none;

    }

    #top .avia_mega_div {

    width: 930px !important;

    }

    .woocommerce-checkout .form-row .chzn-container {

    color: #000;

    }

    .single-product span.tagged_as {

    display: none !important;

    }

    .single-product .product_meta {

    display: none;

    }

    .product-sorting {

    display: none;

    }

    Thank you,

    Kelly

    It seems that the responsive feature isn’t working at all on my site. I went to a different page and I don’t see any responsive layout.

    Here’s a link;

    I forgot to put in there that it was on an Android device. Everything seems good on a PC.

    I’m getting the same non-loading issue on my mobile as well. I would suggest disabling whatever caching plugin you have running, making sure all the old cache data is cleared and testing it again.

    Its a bit of a shot in the dark but in this instance nothing is sticking out that should or would cause things to fail only on a single os like that.

    Hi Devin, I wonder if it works with any mini device, such as an iPhone or iPad, I don’t have one that I can check it with. However, I will try disabling some of my plugins and see if that works.

    Thank you,

    Kelly

    Devin, you were right, it has something to do with W3TC, when I disabled it, the webpage showed up just fine with the Android device. Now I wonder what I should do, switch to a different caching plugin?

    Thanks for all your help as always….

    Kelly
