Homepage leads to 404

   When I go directly to my site, I get a 404. When I click to the "Home" it takes me to permalink /?page_id=28 - which is what I want the homepage/frontpage to be.

   How can I make the frontpage/homepage open up normally?

   Hi lisalokshin1,

   Make sure in your wordpress settings you have the correct url specified and that in Reading the setting is not defining your home page and blog page (they should be defined in the theme settings).
