Is there a way I can make the homepage of my site have a link such as mydomain.com/home?

What I want to do is have mydomain.com redirect to another site (mydomain.com/enter) then have an enter button that redirects to mydomain.com/home which is my full site.

I just want the homepage to have some sort of distintive URL page name instead of just mydomain.com if that makes sense?

This should be possible. Eg you could place use a static index.html – most servers will serve html files before php files. The user will see the static html file first – then create a button inside the html document and link it to your wordpress page. I’m not sure if this a good decision though – I think this can will have a negative impact on seo.
