How do i get the homepage to show up without the overlap of the page content on the background image. I basically want to avoid having the bottom of the image on the background from being cut off, plus i think for my purposes it will look a little cleaner.
i just want that container for the page pushed down so the image is lined up with it instead of having it cut out into the picture.
I’m not quite sure if this is what your looking for but it will expand the header image area to give the image more room to show up. Just add the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:
The 350 is the additional space and needs to be adjust in both of the above to the same amount if you want to change it.
There isn’t a way that I know of however to just let the space adjust to the size of the image since its being set as a background image.
i had to play around with the px to get this to work, but it worked! thanks so much for the great support!!
for anyone trying to accomplish the same thing the correct px i used was. the pic i have in my background is 1500 x 800 as well, so it may be different based on your resolution.
