I have my wordpress/settings/reading options set to show 5 blog posts per page. However, the blog’s main page is displaying 9 posts….is there something in the enfold theme that is forcing this to happen? if so, how is it disabled?
I have several posts set as as “sticky” so they show up at the top of the order. These posts are displaying a second time (where they would be placed had they not been set to sticky). This wasn’t happening with my old themes. How can this be stopped?
Thanks for the prompt reply. The link is below. After looking at the issue a little more….I’m wondering if the homepage is showing a total of 9 posts because I have four posts set as “sticky”…and somehow those aren’t being counted as part of the 5 posts per page….so it displays 9 total (4 sticky and 5 regular)
Also…you’ll see the sticky posts repeated on page 2 of the blog.

Yes, your guess is right, the sticky posts are like abstracted, so they are not counted in the normal loop.
Regarding appearing in the other pages, that behavior is expected, i performed a test with the default WordPress theme and it happens there too. However i’ll try to look for a solution to that.

JosueThanks, Josue. Above you said you’d look for a solution to the issue with sticky posts showing for a second time in the blog list. I just wanted to let you know that I’m not concerned with this. It seems to be a wordpress issue….not a theme issue. I feel better looking for potential fixes elsewhere so as not to abuse or tie up your company’s resources on this issue. So you can close this issue if you’d like. Your service with theme issues has been amazing and is greatly appreciated.
