I wanted to know who could help me out here. I just purchased this theme and I love it, Issue is that all of the posts that I have dont format correctly and bleed over onto the right side area. Posts that I have are shown in their entirety and dont truncate to show a read more option. Its very annoying and I dont see a way to correct it in the options. I have a screen shot below to show what I mean.

Also I wanted to ask, in the live preview of this theme, on the right sidebar, there is a twitter widget. What is that called and how may I obtain it?

    Hello,

Do you have a live preview or link for this site? We want to inspect it to help you out. :)

    Hello,

I checked the site and I don’t find anything wrong about it.

Can you direct me on the exact page?

    Regards,

    Ismael

Sorry I had a theme up that was working, let me change the theme and you can go back and check it again. Thanks Ismael.

So I found out what the issue is. Apparently this theme doesn’t automatically truncate text at a certain point creating a “read more” button so you have to manually add a “read more text” tag when you create a new post. So I had to manually go through every post I made to add read more text tags to them to add “read More” buttons to all of my posts.

Anyway to automate the adding of “read more text” tags? You shouldn’t have to do it manually.

    Hi Rowekx,

Glad you were able to figure it out. That is the current correct behavior for Habitat as it looks for the Read More tag to break the content on preview images.

As far as I know, the theme does not have the function to auto cut content based on a word count or letter count.

    Regards,

    Devin
