    I set up a site with display theme using an instant access alias url . Everything works fine. When I point the DNS of the domain name to it and replace the instant access alias from the wordpress install URL to the url of everything works except the flash version of the slider. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Firstly, what’s the IP address of the server that points to (also known as the ‘A’ record)? The site’s not loading for me.

    This problem is likely caused because the WP site URL & WP home URL are set to the address and flash doesn’t like working cross domain (i.e. loading content from to and it’s possibly what’s causing the problem. You can address this by adding these values to your wp-config.php file which will set this data for you:

    define('WP_SITEURL', '');
    define('WP_HOME', '');

    Update these if necessary and make sure there is no trailing slash (i.e. not ).

    Until the DNS for the correct A record is updated you’ll need to add the IP and site name to your hosts file (if you need help with this a quick Google search should get you set in the right direction) so you can see the site.
