I need to rename and reposition the default “home” page. For the list of pages on our blog, I want to rename this page “Blog” and have it in the 3rd position in the list of pages on our site. But, I can’t figure out how.

How can I set this up?

    Hi hutzelm,

You can modify the main menu any way you’d like in the wordpress Menus manager. Just go to Appearances>Menus and you can expand/reorder as you need.

    Hello Devin,

Thanks for the swift reply. I see where I can edit the pages I’ve manually created, but I still can’t access the “default” home page.

Make sure the menu is selected on the left hand side where it shows Theme Locations just to be sure the menu in the tab area is the same one the theme is using.

If you are still having issues, create a temporary admin account and I will log in and take a look.

You can send the information to my email at DevinVinson (at) gmail.com. Make sure to include a link to this topic so that my spam filter doesn’t grab it :)

    Hey Devin,

Just writing to let you know that I’ve sent the email.

It looks like you don’t actually have a menu created at all for the site you referenced. You need to use the menus manager to create one and then assign it to the theme on the panel to the left via the dropdown.

Just want to let you guys know that I figured it out (for the sake of closing the topic).
