    How can I change the setup on “Portfolio Items” as illustrated:

    Hi CL10,

    You’ll need to edit the includes>loop-portfolio-single.php file so that there is a new container under the two main content areas and move the_content to display in the new container instead of where it is now.

    Regards,

    Devin

    Hi Devin,

    Thanks for your reply.

    I do not have the biggest programming skills. Therefore, I would appreciate it if you could help me fix it correctly in the code:

    ____________________________________________________

    <?php

    /*

    * The Loop for single portfolio Items. Works in conjunction with the file single-portfolio.php

    */

    global $avia_config;

    if(isset($avia_config)) { query_posts($avia_config); }

    // check if we got posts to display:

    if (have_posts()) :

    while (have_posts()) : the_post();

    $slider = new avia_slideshow(get_the_ID());

    $slider->setImageSize(‘fullsize’);

    $slideHtml = $slider->display();

    ?>

    <div class=’post-entry’>

    <div class=”entry-content”>

    <div class=”eight units alpha min_height_1″>

    <?php echo $slideHtml; ?>

    <div class=’post_nav extralight-border’>

    <div class=’previous_post_link_align’>

    <?php previous_post_link(‘<span class=”previous_post_link”>← %link </span><span class=”post_link_text”>’.__(‘(previous entry)’).”</span>”); ?>

    </div>

    <div class=’next_post_link_align’>

    <?php next_post_link(‘<span class=”next_post_link”><span class=”post_link_text”>’.__(‘(next entry)’).’</span> %link →</span>’); ?>

    </div>

    </div> <!– end navigation –>

    </div>

    <?php

    echo “<div class=’four units’>”;

    echo “<h1 class=’post-title portfolio-single-post-title’>”.get_the_title().”</h1>”;

    $meta = avia_portfolio_meta(get_the_ID());

    if($meta)

    {

    echo avia_advanced_hr(false, ‘small’);

    echo $meta;

    }

    //display the actual post content

    echo avia_advanced_hr(false, ‘small’);

    the_content(__(‘Read more →’,'avia_framework’));

    ?>

    </div> <!– end eight units –>

    </div>

    </div><!–end post-entry–>

    <?php

    endwhile;

    else:

    ?>

    <div class=”entry”>

    <h1 class=’post-title’><?php _e(‘Nothing Found’, ‘avia_framework’); ?></h1>

    <?php get_template_part(‘includes/error404′); ?>

    </div>

    <?php

    endif;

    ?>

    Thanks in advance

    There is nothing changed that I can see in the pasted code. You need to add a new twelve unit div just above

    </div><!--end post-entry-->

    then move:

    the_content(__('Read more →','avia_framework'));

    Into that new div. If you aren’t comfortable with that step, I’d suggest looking into a freelance developer to make the customization for you. That way you’ll be able to have any cross browser fixes and additional customization taken care of at that point.

    Hi Devin,

    Thanks for your help.

    My freelance developer and I have not gotten it to work yet.

    When I am on the exact portfolio page, so we have the setup to be like:

    Picture 1: http://www.videopr.dk/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Picture-1.png

    But there is no content on the right side.

    In addition, the same setup does not appear when you want to access the portfolio page in the overview.

    Picture 2: http://www.videopr.dk/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Picture-2.png

    Picture 3: http://www.videopr.dk/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Picture-3.png

    Should we change another file too?

    Thanks in advance.

    Yes, if you want to change the ajax portfolio layout too you need to modify wp-contentthemesangularincludeshelper-templates.php. Search for following function (located at the bottom of the file):

    function avia_check_ajax_request()

    It contains the content of the portfolio (single) entry which will load when the user sends an ajax request.

    Hi Dude,

    Thanks for your reply.

    Can you please elaborate how the actual code must be changed?

    Thanks in advance.

    Its the same layout but using a different grid names that the single-portfolio.php file uses.

    The issue that I think you are running into is that you can’t just make the_content span from the right column down into the new div container under it without using some very new and somewhat unsupported css or javascript. When you move the content, it moves it completely.
