Here’s a page with 3 Masonry Galleries with the different settings I’ve tried. http://www.royal-mfg.com/r0y4lwp/inspiration-gallery/

First gallery is set to All images, 3 columns, Flexible masonry, No gap. On Chrome (Mac), the images are in the correct order but there are large white spaces between the images, and on Firefox (Mac) the grid looks the way I want, but the images are out of order.

Second gallery is set to All images, 3 columns, Perfect grid, Landscape, No gap. Images show up as large squares, which is not what I want.

Third gallery is set to All images, 3 columns, Perfect Automatic Masonry, No gap, and the grid will only display one column, which is not at all what I want.

I really want the grid to look like the first gallery on Firefox, but in all browsers, and with the images in the correct order. How can I accomplish this? Am I using the wrong element?

    Thanks!

    Hey Lissasan,

Sorry for the late reply. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.1.2) to see if that helps please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. If that doesn’t help then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.

    Best regards,

    Hi Rikard,
Updating the core theme files didn’t fix the version of the Masonry Gallery that should have 3 columns. I went back in and resaved all of the settings and the page, and then opened in an incognito window, and there was no change in behavior in Chrome, nor in Firefox.

I’ve added an admin for y’all.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

First off, you can try to check if there are any plugin conflicting with our theme disabling all of them and clear your cache after the update because is strange that this problem only happens in the Firefox.

I’ve turned off all plugins and flushed cache, but the problem, for me, is still there, and is not only happening in Firefox, it is happening in Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari.

Did someone look at the page? I added headers over every gallery detailing the settings used for each.

    Hi,

Are you willing to create the grid manually? The masonry and the portfolio grid element is using the same isotope script which calculates the position of the items and it’s quite inconsistent sometimes if the size of the images are not the same. You have to make sure that each items are using images with the same exact size, not 1px more or less. If you’re willing to do it manually, you can use the columns element.

    Best regards,

Thank you Ismael, I think I understand now. I used the portfolio grid and fixed the image sizes, and that behaves (mostly) the way I want it to.
    Thanks again!
