    Hi,
I tried create a clickable textwidget title in footer as described in earlier thread. But when leaving title blank and adding linked headline to textwidget’s textarea, no heading is displayed:

    <h3 class="textwidget"><a href="#">Headline</a></h3>
    text blablabla and unordered list.

(I undid this step meanwhile for not confusing the customer.)
    What to do?
    Best regards,
    Rolf

    Hey rolf2,

not sure what you mean, would you mind providing a precise link to your site, showing the elements in question? We need to be able to inspect them in order to help :).

You can use HTML code when inserting your widget title. This way you can insert a link as a widget title.

    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hi Andy,
sorry, I had changed the path meanwhile for other reasons.
Anyhow, now I used the same HTML code again as mentioned above and the heading is displayed now as intended.
    Thank you.
    Best regards,

    Hi,

Please try using a plugin such as this one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-title-links/

    Best regards,

    Hi Yigit,

the mentioned plugin wasn’t updated for four years. I will try to find a fresher one.

But anyhow thank you for the tip.

You can close this thread now.

    Best regards
    Rolf
