If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I’m creating a custom template, but I can’t assign a sidebar to it? How do I assign a specific sidebar to a range of pages. Not posts… pages? In the sidebar creator it only let’s me assign it to individual pages for posts categories. I want the same sidebar to be applied to a range of pages. can’t figure this out.
You’ll need to create a new sidebar for each page and then populate it with the same content. You can create each sidebar in the Choices Theme Options>Sidebar then populate them in Appearance>Widgets.
You could look into a plugin like this one if you want to try and assign a single sidebar to multiple pages: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic-visual/
