How do I increase the space between the lines on either side om my blog?
Where can I find the code in CSS?
I want to increase the width of the posts.December 29, 2010 at 11:02 am #38756
search for following code in style.css:
font-family: Arial, Helevtica, Verdana, san-serif;
You need to increase the value of “line-height”. I.e. set it to 30px.December 29, 2010 at 11:11 am #38757

I answered your question here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/i-have-two-small-problems
Please stop cross posting. You can bump your thread but don’t ask the same question twice in two different threads and stop creating new threads with the same question.December 29, 2010 at 11:35 am #38759
Sorry if I post to much threads… Bur Its not the same question. In this thread i ask how to increase the space between the lines on either side om my blog. And in the other i ask how to increase the width of the post.
I want to make the post 100px widther but still have the sidebar 270px, like a wrote a few minutes ago. If i change the sidebar and the post like i want, they hide the lines on either side, so i must increase the space between the lines.
I have try to change every code in CSS to move the lines but I cant find it.
Thats my probleme.
Sorry again, I appreciate your help and i love this theme! :)December 29, 2010 at 2:27 pm #38760
Ah ok – I thought you want to change the line height :)
I think increasing the padding (“lines on either side”) doesn’t make too much sense without increasing the whole page width. I looked into it and it isn’t easily possible. Habitat uses a background image (http://www.kriesi.at/themes/habitat/wp-content/themes/habitat/images/skin1/bg_center.png) which needs to be streched, there are several divs, etc. which aren’t aligned right after you increase the page width. To make all these changes is beyond the scope of this support forum. Also keep in mind that many users have lower display resolutions (i.e. 1024px) – they need to scroll if you increase the page width.
What you can do is to decrease the padding of the sidebar and of the content section. This will give you around 60-80px which you can use to stretch your post content. The drawback is that (imho) this destroys the design a bit.
