    What is an ideal px size or resolution that makes images I load “light” and not “heavy.”

    Hi Nathan,

    It all depends on where you are going to use the image, you could say that an optimised image would one which fits in its container in its natural size. If you are looking to compress images there are lots of stand alone software for that, I would search for image compression/image optimization. WP Smush can do some of that work for you when uploading to WordPress:
