How do I make the post column wider?

Hi guys/gals,

I want to be able to feature embedded videos at 720px wide. But if I do it gets clipped off. I had to set the embed width to 600px so the video doesn't get clipped.

What do I do? I tried Searching too!

Hello,

The content area is 620px only. You can adjust it to 720px but it will dramatically decrease the area for your sidebar.
```
.content {
width: 720px;
}

.sidebar .widget {
width: 160px;
}

.sidebar {
width: 160px;
}
```

Ahhh, so it won't just pushover the sidebar?

Hello,

The solution provided will increase the width of the content area but decrease the width of the sidebar widgets. I think 600px-wide video is fine. :)

Okay, I'll try keeping it at that and see if any other problems from 720p HD videos keep me from changing it.
