How do I put an icon into a list

I want to have a list list this:

• xxxxxxx
• yyyyyyyy

I don’t like the dots, so I want to replace them with icons from the enfold icon builder.

Now I can do this using the Icon List Content Element in the page editor for my Enfold site, however I DON’T want a “title”, I just want the information on the right side of the icon, but if I leave the title field empty the icon appears slightly above the content which makes it look ugly.

Is it possible to simply replace the dots in the default ul list to be one of the icons in the icon builder, so that the icon appears at the same place as the dot? What CSS code do I need to use to do that?
