    Hi,

While editing a blog post, I intended to do a “find” for a colour code (#28aca5) but I’ve somehow managed to insert the #28aca5 into the Blog page code instead!

Here’s the extract of page source showing where the code is; it’s at line 231 and I don’t know how to remove it. It shows up beneath the blog title on the /Blog page.

Please let me know how to remove this. Thanks!

    </div></div><footer class=”entry-footer”></footer><span class=’hidden’>

    Hi CorrinaGB,

Please send us a temporary admin login and point out the page you are having problems on so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

Thanks – I’ve included the link privately as the site is live but still in testing mode.

I’ve uploaded a screenshot of the issue to the page I’ve linked you to, and you can see the page source to identify the code glitch.

The issue no longer shows up visually on the site as I’ve now made the blog titles longer, but I’d like to clean up the code anyway.

    Thanks a lot.

Another private link sent, for clarification.

    Hi,

I could not see the issue on your website. Where exactly did you added the code? Also, please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately so we can look into it.

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi Yigit,

It’s a strange one! While editing a blog post, I intended to do a CMD-F “find” to search for the colour code (#28aca5) but I somehow managed to insert the #28aca5 into the Blog page code instead.

It’s not showing up on the site because the blog title is now longer, but I wonder if with another blog post with a shorter title it’d show up again like I showed in the screenshot I attached privately.

For temporary login, what role do I need to give you? (author/editor/contributor/administrator) and what email address do I use? How do I set it up as temporary?

Thanks for your help and care.

    Hi!

Please do create an administrator for us, but also post us the credentials here, as private data, because we do not get the emails with the access ( I guess you understand they are many and there is no sequence on how will help you in the end ).

Please do let us know when you do it

    Best regards,
    Basilis

Please use (Email address hidden if logged out) or any email address of your choice we just need the login credentials (add them in “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

Thanks both. I’ll leave it here for now as the issue isn’t showing up; if it shows up again, it’s great to know I can give you this admin and you’ll support this way.

    Hi,

Ok, great you got it working. We’ll keep the thread open for you.
