Hello everyone, how can I use my own header.php in custom templates I make for the propulsion theme?

It seems like avia_get_template(); always overrides me trying to use get_header(‘edu’);.

If I remove the avia_get_template(); then I can use my own header but I lose the dynamic theme builder function.

Thanks, I’m really stuck on this one!

    Hi adtheme,

I would have said the get_header(‘my-header’); would do the trick. Let me tag the rest of the support team as they usually know more about customizations like this than I do.

    Regards,

    Mya

    Hi,

You are working within Avia Framework so you need to work within the framework rules. Instead of trying to switch one header.php for another, see what it is that needs to be moved from ‘new-header’ to ‘current-header’. If the functionality is completely different you will most likely have to rewrite a portion of the framework.

I do recall a post from a month or more back of someone being able to ‘hack their way out’ of the framework so I know its doable but is unfortunately outside the scope of the support team.

    Thanks,

    Nick
